I recently did a Motherhood Event for my gorgeous momma clients of 2018 (and a few new clients as well!) and it was nothing short of AMAZING!
Incase you missed what this event was, I’ll give a little recap- All of my full time clients of 2018 had the opportunity to come in for a free photo session with their little ones. We had hair and make up by my amazing make-up artist-Tabitha Smith-, a complete wardrobe for everyone to use, and special gifts from some wonderful local businesses. The support from these vendors was fabulous and I just love that they each had no hesitation to celebrate these sweet moms. I just want to take a minute to talk about each of these vendors because I am SO grateful to each of them!
If you are looking for a personalized spray tan, look no further than TexasTans. I follow her both on her business page and personal page and have no doubt in her ability to give you the perfect sun kissed tan for any event. Not only does she already do a great job, but I’ve watched a ton of her videos of all the effort she puts in to learn new ways to make sure you get the best tan possible, and I love that commitment. It’s SO important to keep up with new trends, and I can tell that she really loves her job which means she really cares about her clients. I am hoping to book her for my next set of family photos or even for an important event to pop up just so I can book her ASAP!
As far as cookies go, I ALWAYS use Sweets By Stephanie. She has made custom cookies for me on many, many occasions and is also who I use for cake smashes during any first birthday photo sessions. She is so sweet, her cookies look and taste SO good, and plus the first time I went to her house and rang her doorbell, it played Harry Potter music. I couldn’t be more of a fan of her!
Let me just say that I really enjoy things that smell good. I will spend quite a bit of time in the candle aisle of stores, and always try to find new ways to make my house, studio, car, etc. smell good. Well, when I picked up the gift bags from Urban Soap Bar, I instantly fell in love. Their store is full of the most amazing smells from soaps, bath bombs, lotions and more. I’ve heard raving reviews of all of their products and now I can truly say that they are as wonderful as I’ve been told.
As you know, this event was for past clients, but what truly warmed my heart was when one of those clients who unfortunately was unable to make the event, stepped up and participated by giving these fun vinyled coozies to each momma. If you are in the market for any type of cute shirts or accessories with a southern twist, check out Texas Closet & Co.
Last but not least, a HUGE thank you to Kendra Scott. They are such a giving company and I appreciate how easy they made working with them.
I am so happy with this event and it felt good to treat my clients and say thank you for trusting me.
